- בַּצּוֹרְתָא(בִּיצּוּרְתָּא, בִּיצַּרְתָּא, בּוּ׳) ch. sam(בצורת scarcity of provision, dearth.). Targ. Jer. 17:8 (ed. Wil. בְּצוּרְתָא); a. fr.Taan. 19ab נהרא אנהרא ב׳וכ׳ when provision has to be imported on rivers (canals), it is called ב׳, when from one country to another it is called כפנא.
